Carfagna’s 5 for 5 Tasting – 07/15/2017

Carfagna’s

Stopped by Carfagna’s for another Saturday 5 for 5. Lisa was pouring today and of course, Raj poured a 6th wine. While we were at Carfagna’s, our 7-year-old nephew called and asked Julie to taste some bubbles for him. So, at the bottom, we talk about one of our favorite Champagnes.

  1. Lodali, Roero Arneis, Italy ($15.99)     3_Full_Bottles_Small
  2. Rosé, Domaine Mas Therese, Bandol, France  ($17.99)     4_Full_Bottles_Small

  • Brut, Pierre Gimonnet & Fils, Champagne, France (375ml)     5_Full_Bottles_Small (This is one of our favorite Champagnes. We had it first at one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus, the Refectory. This wine has the distinct yeasty flavor of a Champagne, but also a ton of fruit, green and red apple. )
